Passed peacefully away in the presence of loving family at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Friday, February 18, 2022, William J. ‘Will’ Stephenson of Victoria, age 99 years.
Predeceased by wife: Jean; daughter: Mary (Graham) Ashton; parents: Alexander James and Amelia; son-in-law: Ben Evely; sisters: Irene (Eldon) Gray, Rosalie (Howard) Noyes, Annie (David) Clarke, Dorothy (Harold) Smith, Eva Leslie, Jennie (John) Egbert, and Mary (Ralph) Dawe; brothers: John 'Jack' (Doris) and Alex (Louise).
Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Rosalie (Tom) Hunt, Brampton, ON, Donna (Perry) Burden, Woody Point, and Shirley (Tony) White, Carbonear; eight grandchildren: Suzanne (Dave), Jennifer (Chris), Jason (Jamie), Aimie (Dan), Craig (Stephanie), Chad (Rebecca), Aaron (Jennifer), and Zachary (Katie); ten great-grandchildren: Madalyn, Viktoria, Davis, Katie, Landen, Caleb, Max, Reid, Abigail, and Maggie; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday, February 20 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral service to take place on Monday, February 21 at 11:00 a.m. from the United Church, Victoria. Interment in the United Cemetery, Victoria.
Proof of vaccination required for visitation and funeral service.
