Obituary of John Clarke

Passed peacefully away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, John Charles ‘Jack’ Clarke of Victoria, age 81 years. Predeceased by infant son; daughter: Jackie Clarke; parents: Audrey and Ronald Clarke; parents-in-law: Sadie and Arthur Deering; brother William. Leaving to mourn a family that he adored and who adored him, his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Rosalind; daughter: Allison (Dave) Edwards, Ottawa, ON; five grandchildren: Kristian (Melissa), Jared, Sarah Anne (Matthew), Dirk, and Tori; seven great-grandchildren: Gaige, Huntyr, Abigail, Brianna, Sean, Tyson, and Erik; special mother-in-law: Lydia Hiscock, Victoria; brothers: Ron (Vera), Alberta, Glenn (Joan), Victoria, Stan (Daisy) Labrador City; sisters: Elizabeth (Ralph, deceased) Johnson, Pennsylvania, Polly (Charlie), Victoria, Lyla (Phil) and Audrey (Bram), both of Glovertown, Debbie (Baxter), Victoria; sister-in-law: Lillian Clarke and also brothers and sisters-in-law from the Deering, Hiscock and McGivney families; special niece: Janie Johnson, Florida; and a large number of nieces and nephews; special home care angels: Debbie Sutton and Hilda Kelloway, who have been a constant source of support to our family, and to his grandson Jared for always being there. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday, February 27 from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, February 28 at 2:30 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria.
