Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s on Sunday, April 24, 2022, Shirley Baggs of Adam's Cove, age 78 years. Predeceased by parents: Gordon and Annie Wheadon; brother: Nick; sister: Ena Roberts. Leaving to mourn, husband: Rendall; daughter: Wendy (Roger) Parsons, Small Point; son: Henry, Adam’s Cove; two grandchildren: Lynn (Shawn) and Bruce (Alison); great-grandchildren: Chloe, Rowan, and soon to be baby girl Parsons; two brothers: Pat (Pauline) Wheadon, Western Bay and Gordon 'Jr' (Linda) Wheadon, Fox Trap; two brothers-in-law: Jim Roberts, Clarke’s Beach and Ray (Betty) Baggs, St. John’s; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thank you to nursing staff at 5 East, St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for their compassion and care. Also, to Christine Butt for extra special care at home. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Tuesday, April 26 at 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, April 27 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment at Blackhead United Cemetery. The family respectfully ask for masks to be worn during visitation and funeral service. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to North Shore Central Ambulance Service, P.O. Box 159 Broad Cove A0A 1L0.
