Obituary of M. Frances 'Fanny' Dwyer

Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, April 29, 2022, M. Frances ‘Fanny’ Dwyer of Harbour Grace, age 87 years. Predeceased by husband: William R.; grandson: David William; brothers: Bill, Bern, Jim, and Bob; sisters: Helen, Julia, and Bridget. Leaving to mourn, four daughters: Brenda (Al) Green, New Brunswick; Joan Hallam (Lloyd Sinclair), Westville, Nova Scotia; Beverley Dwyer, Heart’s Content, and Colleen Flammia, Spaniard’s Bay; five sons: Jim (Sharon), Edmonton, Alberta, Bob (Toni), Gibbons, Alberta, Bill (Michelle), Harbour Grace, Chris (Maureen Forward), Riverhead, Harbour Grace, and Barry (Colleen), Prince Edward Island; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sister: Ethel (John) Murray, Bears Cove, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Monday, May 2 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, May 3 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. The family respectfully ask for masks to be worn during the visitation and funeral service. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Dialysis Unit, Carbonear General Hospital, 86 Highroad South, Carbonear, A1Y 1A4.
