Obituary of Donald F. Evans

Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on February 4, 2025, Donald Felix Evans of Northern Bay, age 64 years. Loving brother, uncle, friend of many, Don always took pride in everything he did in life; whether it be the building of his car he loved dearly, or building his new cabin/home. Don often talked about all the motorcycle trips he did a few years back with his friends; driving and exploring places as far as Nova Scotia and back home. He also enjoyed a good game of washers, rides on atv, and boil-ups in the woods. Special thanks to nephews Gary Collins, Gord Jr. Collins, and Tyler Evans for all that they did for him. Thank you to all the nurses, doctors, and home care workers at Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial and Carbonear General hospitals, as well as the Prescription Centre in Western Bay who always made sure he didn’t go without. He is predeceased by his parents: Felix and Joan Evans; sisters: Linda Sayers and Paulette Evans; niece: Lori Leclerc. Leaving to mourn, brothers: Wayne (Judy), Gerry, and Paul (Judy); sisters: Patricia (Rob) and Denise (Ron); nieces and nephews: Gord, Gary, Wayne Jr., Andy, Jordan, Tiffany, Bradley, Ashley, Lesley, Tyler, and Hollie; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay on Saturday, February 8 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay.
