Obituary of Howard Fred Hudson

Passed peacefully away at his residence in Carbonear on March 7, 2025, Howard Hudson, formerly of Adam’s Cove, age 85 years. Predeceased by parents: Steward and Harriett Hudson; brothers: Ben (Marsha), Clyde; sister: Sadie. Leaving to mourn, special friend: Winnie Butt; niece: Jackie Hudson; also a large circle of family and friends. Born and raised in Adams Cove, Howard was an avid fisherman, a skilled trouter, and an enthusiastic small game hunter. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed picking berries and exploring the woods. Known for his larger-than-life stories, Howard always had a good joke ready, and his infectious laughter could brighten anyone’s day. Howard was a kind and loving person who cherished the simple pleasures in life. It didn’t take much to make him happy. Above all, he adored Winnie and the Butt family. He also cherished the Hudson family, along with all his relatives and friends. "Rest easy Howard , the fish are biting, the berries are ripe and your stories will live on in our hearts forever." Cremation will take place. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Adam’s Cove Schoolhouse, Site 6, Box 5 RRI, Adams Cove, A1Y 1C6.
