It is with broken hearts we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend Frederick ”Burt” Baggs on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Westbury Estates Senior Living. Predeceased by his loving wife, Stella (2021), his parents: Frederick and Marion; sisters: Eileen and Doreen. Leaving to mourn with endless loving memories his devoted children: two daughters: Valerie (Dan) Bobbett and Lisa (Ches) Mesh; son: Duane (Jessica); five precious grandchildren: Alicia (David) Galutir, Amanda (Chad) Brinson, Adam, Anna, and Aaron Mesh; two treasured great grandchildren: Elouise Galutira and Rhett Brinson; two sisters: Florence King and Shirley (Leonard) Corrigan; brothers- in-law: Russell Parsons, George Penney; sister-in-law: Alma (Max) Adams; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and countless special friends. We would like to thank all the staff at Westbury Estates for their kindness since Burt moved in. We would like to extend a special thank you to Natasha Dalton, Amanda Greene and Halyna Fesenko of Westbury Estates, your kindness and friendship shown to Burt will never be forgotten. Our memories of Burt are endless, he was hard on the outside but soft on the inside, he was giving and loving, and his family meant the world to him. He was extremely proud of his children and adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a dedicated and loving husband, always putting Stella before himself. Burt enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking; He loved creating delicious meals for everyone. He always had time for a good game of cards. Burt had a passion for music, he had mixed tapes and CDs and endlessly enjoyed sharing his love of music with others. His love of music continued when he moved to Westbury Estates where he entertained both the staff and residents. During his 16 months at Westbury Estates, Burt developed new friendships and enjoyed their company. His outgoing friendly personality made it so easy to love him. Our memories will be always treasured. At Burt’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation to take place at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Please join the family from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. for a reception in the downstairs Coffee area at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay.
