Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on March 19, 2025, Eleanor Beatrice Paul-Burt of Broad Cove, age 82 years. Predeceased by husbands: David Paul, Hedley Burt; parents: Edison and Emma Flight; parents-in-law: William and Annie Paul. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Bonnie (Lawrence) Hurley; grandchildren: Lacey and Olivia (Brandon); great-grandchildren: David (Alyssa), Jamie, Emma, and James; brother: Jim (Alma); also a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Friday, March 28 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, March 29 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Main Highway, Western Bay. Burial to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
