Obituary of Alec H. Nicholl

Passed peacefully away surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at his residence in Conception Bay South, Alex Nicholl formerly of Harbour Grace in his 95th year. Predeceased by his wife: Freda; parents: Jack and Rohanna; son: Terry; daughter-in-law: Theresa; brothers: Albert, Francis, John, and Charles; sisters: Annie Collett and Louise Parrott. Leaving to mourn two sons: John (Lorraine) and Perry (Mary); daughter-in-law: Betty (Bob) whom he resided with and cared for him till the end; sister: Jean (Frank deceased); brother: Hayward (Betty); six grandchildren: Kelly (Shannon), Tony (Olga), Wendy (Rick), Terry (Rhonda), Tanya (Johnny), and Erin (Randy); twelve great-grandchildren: Taylor, Brianna, Conner, Beacan, Kate, Alex, Wyatt, Wynn, Jessica, Edward, Michael, and Emily. Also, a large number of other relatives and friends both of Conception Bay South and Harbour Grace. Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Sunday, March 30 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, March 31 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donation in his memory may be made to Alzheimer Society NL online at alzheimer.ca.
