To the Robbins family,
It saddened all of us to hear of John's passing and sending our sincere sympathy to all his family. He is remembered by our family as the adorable little brother of the Robbin's sisters; then later was the big brother of baby Junior. We have fond memories of the Robbins family especially the long walk to school together with John's sisters each day in all kinds of weather. Thinking of the family during this difficult time and remembering you all in our thoughts and prayers.
Love and Blessings

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of John. John was a good friend of mine many years ago. Although we both moved away from Newfoundland some years ago, it was so nice to reconnect again when he moved back. John would always drop by for a visit whenever in Lower Island Cove…always a pleasant surprise. I'll remember him for his smile and kind gentle manner. My sincere condolences to all his family…you’re in my thoughts.

We were so heartbroken to hear of John’s passing. Christian and I will always remember him as a kind, generous man who wore his heart on his sleeve and always had a smile to share. His love for his beautiful daughter Lucy and for Lori was unwavering and so evident to everyone who knew him.
We have such fond memories of the cruise we shared together for Young Bob and Thelma’s 50th wedding anniversary—what a special time that was. John’s warmth and good humour made every moment better.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. Our hearts are with Lucy, Lori, and all who loved him.
With love and sympathy,
Caroline & Christian

To all of Johns family,
So sorry to hear of Johns passing. We met in grade6 at Jackson Walsh Elementary School over 50 years ago, and have been the best of friends ever since.
I will miss his almost daily calls to have a yarn and a laugh about older times, and of course cars and trucks.
John had an immense love for his family and friends.
Rest in eternal peace my friend.

We were both very sorry to receive that dreaded call, Johnny has passed. Lucy and Lori, you owned his whole heart. There are no words to express how proud he was of his little girl. Watching him light up a room at the mention of her name was something to behold. Cherish all the memories, the real good belly laughs, and the treasured phone calls. Rest easy dear friend, see you on the other side xo. You will be missed by many.

Dear John,
Today, I must bid farewell to a man I have cherished for over 30 years. Together, we have created countless memories, and the most precious of all is our beautiful daughter, Lucy. You were a wonderful father,Just the mention of her name would bring a smile to your face and light up your eyes—it's something everyone who knew you can attest to. Your love and warmth will forever be a part of us. You were the hardest working man I have ever known, and a real softie when it came to animals. I remember the many tears you shed after losing Aristotle our bearded dragon. And how much love you had for Soapy. You were the kind of friend who helped anyone in need which is why you had an abundance of them and even when your guitar playing was off key and they would hide your guitar, you would find it and keep going. Your determination was admired, and your spirit appreciated . Shaun, Gabe and Jeff will miss you at the Friday night, facetiming Jam sessions in Shauns garage.
Although you may be gone from this world, it gives me comfort to know that so much of you is alive in your family and friends lives.
Love you forever
Lori xoxo

My dearest dad, this happened so suddenly I still can’t believe you’re gone.
There’s so much I wish I could have said to you but sadly my time with you was cut short. I just hope you knew how much you meant to me and how thankful I was for everything you have done for me even just a simple phone call from you could turn my day around. I don’t know how but you always managed to light up a room and could make anyone laugh at any given time and it wasn’t just me who noticed, everyone that came into your life could see you had a heart of gold and a witty soul.
My dad was the type of person to give you the shirt off his back if that’s what you wanted or needed, he would just be happy to see someone smile. He was that one friend that would reach out to you, even if you haven’t talked in years and could talk about anything whether it was something serious or just wanted to joke around and talk about cars or truck he was there for it. My dad was the most kind, hardworking and strong person I’ve ever known and he will live on through me and I know many others.
I love you more than I could ever explain, thank you for being my dad, may you rest in peace.
Love your daughter, Lucy

Sorry to hear of John’s passing. My condolences to his immediate family and to all his extended family and friends. I grew up with John and I got to say that he was a very nice guy going around. However, I got to say he spent a lot more time hanging out with my brother Jim and Felix Hogan. They were all into the weight lifting back in the late seventies and early eighties.
