Obituary of Stephen Leo Fahey

Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on March 28, 2025, Stephen Leo Fahey of Western Bay, age 55 years. Predeceased by father: Phillip Fahey. Leaving to mourn his passing, daughter: Madison; mother: Margaret; brother: Paul (Elizabeth); sisters: Sandra (Kenneth) Butt, Christine (Bruce) Cole; special girlfriend: Christine Mae Descalzo; nieces: Chantelle (Ryan), Kenzie (Ryan), Shalene (Matt), and Hannah (Ryan); nephews: Sheldon (Sammy), Kenny, Jarrid (Kerri), and Lucas (Sara); great nieces and nephews: Gavin, Gracie, Natalie, and Nathan; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Stephen was an avid outdoorsman. Whether hunting, fishing, cutting firewood, or simply taking a casual ride through the wilderness on his beloved quad, Stephen was mystified and always in awe of the tranquility and the pristine nature of the wilderness for which he had tremendous respect. Those who knew and loved Stephen will miss his quiet demeanor, his pleasant smile and his ever readiness to lend a helping hand. Family will be receiving friends at Noel’s Funeral Home, Western Bay on Thursday, April 3 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
