Obituary of Howard Antle

With heavy hearts we announce that Howard Antle passed away at the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador on Monday, March 31, 2025, age 62 years. Howard Antle suffered from significant vision loss and was well-respected and valued by his colleagues who depended on him for his expertise in the computer field. His talents and knowledge were much in demand. Aside from his ability, Howard was known for his accommodating nature, fulfilling numerous requests as early as possible and often working after hours. Howard was an intricate part of the department in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Howard’s enthusiasm was contagious and his positive attitude was appreciated by all those who worked with him. His dedication and commitment to his job were an inspiration. He retired in 2023 and continued to live in Happy Valley Goose Bay. Predeceased by father: Sidney; mother: Pauline (Boyd); sisters: Marilyn Parsons and Rhoda Cole; brother: Randolph. Leaving to mourn, sisters: Corina White, Turks Cove and Cindy Homes (John McEwen), Ontario; brothers: Wylie (Prudence), Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and Dean, Victoria; Uncles, aunts and cousins, special friends: The Barney and March families from Goose Bay; Janice and Lorne, Paul and Norma from St. Johns; also a number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, April 22 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Water Street, Carbonear. Interment in Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria. There will be an informal gathering of the late Howard Antle’s friends & co-workers will take place at the boardroom of Labrador Affairs office, 438-440 Hamilton River Road, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, at 2 pm - 4 pm on April 29th, 2025.
