Passed peacefully away at Health Science Centre, St. John’s, surrounded by her family and friends, on April 11, 2025, Carol Knapman of Lower Island Cove, age 60 years. Predeceased by parents: Robert and Jean Knapman; grandparents: John and Mary Knapman; grandfather: Harold Penney; grandparents: Joe and Tilly Van Doninck; best friends: Ann and Roy LeShane. Leaving to mourn, the love of her life: John Martin; sister: Cathy (Corey) White; John's family members who Carol embraced as her own, daughter: Kim; granddaughter: Kaiya; grandsons: James Alfred and Ryan (Taylor); great-grandsons; Aiden and Lincoln; also a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and special friends. Visitation at Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove on Wednesday, April 16 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 17 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday April 17, 2025 at 2:00 pm from Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove. Interment at Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Food Bank, P. O.
