Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, April 21, 2025, Bessie Cole of Carbonear, age 87 years. Predeceased by husband, George; daughter: Jackie Cole; infant son: John; parents: Erastus and Beatrice Elliott; sisters: Ella (Alf) Slade, Jessie (Bert) Seymour, Pheobe (Dudley) Ollerhead, Alice Penney; brother: Bill (Elizabeth) Elliott; brother-in-law: Freeman Colbourne. Leaving to mourn, son: Jeffrey (Sonya); granddaughter: Taylor (Keegan); brother: Reuben (Millie) Elliott; sister: Naomi Colbourne; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, April 23 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Water Street, Carbonear.
