Passed peacefully away at Health Science Centre, St. John’s on April 19, 2025, Lawson ‘Lol’ Rogers of Harbour Grace, age 82 years. Predeceased by son: William; parents: Alfred and Mae Rogers; sisters: Marguerite, Shirley, Jean (Israel); brothers: baby brother Alfred, Gerald, Ralph, and Selby; brothers and sisters-in-law: Rosella, Greg, and Raymond. Leaving to mourn, wife: Shirley; daughters: Rachel Akerman and Jennifer (Bradley) Lynch; grandchildren: Mackenzie, Sean, and Lila; brother: Charles (Fran); sisters: Bertha (Merriel) Peddle, Patricia (Dave) Sawyer, and Amy (Walter - deceased) Stone; brothers and sisters-in-law: Jon, Marie, Francis (Tom), Jerome (Loretta), Mary (Bill), Don, Ted (Joan), Eileen, Christine, Debbie, Mark (Isabel) Judy (Colin), Keith (Karen), Anthony (Terri Lynn), Mary, Brian, Lorraine, and Judy; also a large number of other family and friends. Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Wednesday, April 23 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, April 24 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday April 25 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
