Passed peacefully away at Pte Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on April 20, 2025, Carol Reid of Western Bay, age 79 years. Predeceased by, husband of 46 years, Elliott; parents: Allan and Viola Baggs; sisters: Doris (Donald) Hiscock and Shirley Murphy; parents-in-law: Albert and Ceciley Reid; brothers-in-law: Stewart, Leo, Joshua, Michael, Gordon, and Harold; sisters-in-law: Marie, Alvina (James), Phoebe (Kenneth), and Annie (James). Leaving to mourn with broken hearts, are her children: Scott (Kelly) Reid, Stephanie (Carl) Hatch, and Karen (William) Duke; cherished grandsons who she loved with her whole heart: Dustin (Kendra) and Landen (Brianna); cherished granddaughters: Kelsey (Matt) and Karla (Chris); great-grandchildren: Hayden, Akyler, and Arielle; other special family members: Judy, Jordan, Jenny, Sandy, and Robert; extended family: Doreen Reid, Wendell and Ethel Reid, Lindsay and Audrey Kelloway, Clarence and Cavelle Reid, Ray and Hilda Tucker, Albert Reid, Janie Childs, Violet Halley, and Jerlina Redmond; also a large circle of special nieces and nephews; special friends who she shared many memories with over the years: Marjorie Penney, Clarice Crowley, and Karen LeGrow. Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Road, Western Bay on Friday, April 25 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, April 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday April 26, 2025 at 2:00 pm from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay.
