Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavillion, Carbonear on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, John Joe Rose of Ochre Pit Cove, age 68 years. Predeceased by parents: Peter and Winnie ; sister: Madonna Yetman; niece: Tanya Rose; nephew; Ryan Parsons. Leaving to mourn, wife: Pauline; daughter: Amy (Aaron) Slade; son: Paddy (Lori); grandchildren: Dmitri, Jaden, Lucas, Cameron, Calen, and Serina; brother: Peter (Lolita); sisters: Rita (Jim) and Gennie (Derrick); step-daughter: Krista (Jason) Wellon; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to staff of 1 North, Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavillion, Carbonear for their care of John Joe over the past 28 months.
