Uncle John and cousins Sincere condolences on the passing of Aunt Darlene. She will be remembered for her kindness and her excellent cooking and baking skills which she lovingly shared with others and especially my mother. John & Family: We were both saddened and shocked today to hear of Darlene’s passing. We were not aware that her health had deteriorated so much. Just a few weeks ago we drove through Salmon Cove and wondered if you were still in town or away with your family. We both have wonderful memories of Darlene and our time on the Salmon Cove Pastoral Charge - and, not surprisingly, many of them involve food! Her faith was strong as she faced so many difficulties over the years, and we will continue to celebrate her commitment to her family and all those around her. Blessings to you all as you gather to celebrate her life, remembering always that friends from near and far share your sorrow. Rev. Wayne & Hertha Blackwood

To John and family...I have fond memories of your mom when Paul and I camped in salmon cove with Chris all you kids were pretty young then..and over the year they often stayed at our place when they came to St Johns...Your mom would always bring in sweets she was such a kind woman..may she rest in peace and reunite with her son Herb...and all her loved ones who have gone before..
