To Liam and Tara, We are so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. He was a very special person who is now at peace with your mother in a heavenly place. Your mother and father have always been very special to Joanne, Jill, Jimmy and I. We will always cherish our memories of our visits to Harbour Grace, especially the reunion and celebration of our grandfathers 95th birthday. It was such a special day for all of us to be a part of and to meet more of our extended Fleming family. Loving memories never die, as years roll on and days pass by. I cannot think of Frank without thinking of Justina. The easy grace and humour that was the hallmark of their relationship made it a joy simply to be around them. I knew Frank best in Lab City but I remember fondly visiting him and Justina in Harbour Grace where Frank proudly gave me a tour of his garden and told me stories about fairy rings on the property. Liam and Tara, I am so sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and all the family. Frank was a gentleman. Rest in peace dear friend.

When we think of Frank we are reminded of a man with a beaming smile and a knack for making fun. We recall so many cards games which Margaret & Geoffrey took seriously & all Frank & Hilda were intent upon was finding new & creative ways of cheating. Frank, of course was part a wonderful union. With Justina they raised Liam & Tara and they were a truly loving family. We will remember them forever in our hearts. Sincere condolences to all the family. Hilda & Geoffrey

Dear Tara and Liam and to your families, My heart goes out to you with your dad's passing. Your lovely obituary is so true to Frank (Mr. Fleming :)). He was certainly a quiet man with such a rich life that you only found out about by hearing it from others or by chance. After knowing him so many years, I only found out that he was a champion hockey player when going through back issues of the Churchill Falls News. Suddenly there he was, "Meet Frank Fleming." Interviewed in the late 1960s, he was already someone who was important in the community where he'd only arrived not long before. The picture was from over 50 years ago but you couldn't mistake him. It was such a joy for me to run into him there by total surprise as it was every time I saw him over the years. Both of your parents were very dear to me and so important in my life. All my love to you and to them. Thinking of you now and over the weeks and months ahead. So much love, Kathryn

Frank and his wife Justina were precious lifelong friends of ours from 1972 when we first met in Churchill Falls. They were both extremely lovable sweet people. The warmest of hearts, thoughtful, generous, charming, talented, kind - and very funny! Time spent in their company was always joyful! Their loss has caused great sadness and pain in those who loved them.
