Frank was a quiet man, who valued his family. He worked in telecommunications for over 30 years, with CN and Bell Aliant, in Churchill Falls and Labrador City. He was a patient man, who lived for his family and enjoyed farming. He retired from Labrador West to Harbour Grace. He could be found most days tending to the farm that had been in his family for generations. He was an avid hockey player and played for the championship winning Cee Bees. He continued his love of hockey through coaching minor hockey in Labrador West. He was also involved with the Boy Scouts and was instrumental in founding the first Labrador West chapter of the Beavers.
