Obituary of Norman Wesley Tucker
It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that the family of Norman Wesley Tucker, Jobs Cove announce his passing at Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at the age 75 years.
Norman touched many lives with his compassion, generosity and sense of humour.
Predeceased by loving wife: Edith (Rixon); parents: John Wes & Ethel Tucker; sister: Joyce (Sandy) Bursey; brothers: Nelson and Clayton; two infant brothers; parents-in-law: Robert James & Rita Rixon.
Norman is survived by his devoted partner Gloria Delaney; sons: Chris (Kelly) and Clinton (Sonja); granddaughter: Ciara (Taylor Yanishewski); grandsons: Brody & AJ; great-granddaughters: Hazel & Zoey; stepson: Curtis (Susan) Delaney; step-grandchildren: Caden, Alex and Grace; sister: Rosalind (Andrew) Button; sisters-in-law: Marjorie, Ramona, and Joyce; brother-in-law: Ross; special nephew: Blair (Lisa) Tucker; faithful caregivers: Judy, Rebecca, and Tina; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Memorial United Church, Burnt Point on Friday, May 30 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, May 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, May 31 at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial United Church, Burnt Point. Interment in Memorial United Cemetery, Burnt Point.
