Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at his residence on Saturday, July 26, 2025, Howard Slade of Salmon Cove, age 93 years.

Predeceased by first wife: Doris; sons: Howie and Donald; grandson: Mackenzie; parents: George and Julia; brothers: John, Shen, and Nath; sister: Melba; parents-in-law: Leo and Joan Mackey.

Leaving to mourn, devoted wife of 47 years, Carol; five daughters: Debbie (Dean), Rhonda (Carl), Tina (Kevin), Leslie-Anne (Colin), and Julia; son: Jason (Ta); fifteen grandchildren: Cory, Jeremy, Deanne, Jamie, Melissa, Kenny, Mark, Caroline, Beau, Arthiva, Araya, Jenaya, Eliana, Avrielle, and Evangeline; nine great-grandchildren; four sisters: Georgie, Ella, Anne, and Renee; special friend: Chris Peddle; also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Cremation has taken place. Burial to be held at a later date.
