I just noticed Wayne’s obituary and I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. Wayne and dad (Bill Kent) travelled many places throughout Canada with the IBEW and were the best of buddies. I remember Voilet at the house waiting on their return home many times during my childhood. We lost dad last august and I’m sure dad and Wayne are together sharing good memories in heaven and watching over us all still. My deepest sympathies to you all and God bless! To Violet and the Whalen family, we were so very sorry to hear of Wayne’s passing. He was certainly a dedicated member of the IBEW and Hans shared many memories with both Wayne and Todd.Both worked on many of the same jobs mainly in Ontario.
They certainly spent a lot of time away from family on those jobs and many laughs…great memories.
