Obituary of Wayne E. Whalen

Passed suddenly away at his home on Thursday, July 31, 2025, Wayne E. Whalen of Western Bay, age 78years.

Predeceased by parents: Douglas and Carrie; son: Todd; brothers: Gerald (Shirley) and Dexter (Phyllis); sister: Janice (Bruce) Penney; brothers-in-law: Aubrey (Edna) and Chesley; parents-in-law: William and Pearl Penney.

Leaving to mourn, wife: Violet; son: Terry (Kim); grandson: Tristen; brother: Jeff (Grace); sister: Dona Whalen; brother-in-law: Claude (Theresa); special friend and also close family: Lester (Karen) Wheadon; also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Wayne was a very dedicated IBEW 2330 member who loved to travel with his IBEW brothers.

He was a soft hearted man and his family meant the world to him. He loved his daily travels around his community to chat with friends and shared much laughter.

He will be forever missed and forever loved by his family, friends and everyone who knew him.

Cremation has taken place. Burial to be held at a later date.
