Obituary of John (Jack) Traverse

Passed peacefully away at his home in Northern Bay, John (Jack) Edward Traverse on Thursday, July 31, 2025, age 77 years.

Predeceased by parents: John and Catherine; brothers: David, James, William, and Michael (Bridget); sisters: Bride (Anthony) Merrigan, Theresa (Timothy) Fahey, and Anastasia (Richard) Slade; parents-in-law: Dominic and Lillian Power.

Leaving to mourn, beloved wife of 52 years, Bride: son: Kirk (Tara), St. John's; daughter: Marisa (Scott), St. John's; brother: Phil (Margaret), CBS; fur baby: Archie; sisters-in-law: Helena (Wade) Crowley, Catherine (Harold) Snelgrove, and Mary Traverse; brother-in-law: Raymond (Heather) Power; also a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service to take place on Friday, August 8 at 10:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. 

Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay.
