Obituary of Guy Thoms

Passed suddenly but peacefully away at Carbonear on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 Guy Thoms of Carbonear, age 90 years.

Predeceased by wife: Gladys; parents: James and Elizbeth; Max Oates.

Leaving to mourn, daughter: Joy (Harold), Paradise; son: Rod (Leanna), Mono, ON; grandchildren: Chelsea (Luke) and Katie; great-grandchildren: Francis and Mae Power; numerous brothers and sisters of the Thoms and Oates families; special sisters and best friends: Marina Harris and Sandra Mercer; also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Noel's funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear on Friday, September 5 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, September 6 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
