Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, September 7, 2025, James H. 'Jim' Penney of Carbonear, age 77 years.

Predeceased by parents: James and Clara; sisters: Shirley (Gord) Williams and Emma (Junior) Evely; sister-in-law: Dianne Penney; parents-in-law: George and Agnes Hiscock; best buddy: Clarence Forward.

Leaving to mourn, loving wife of 56 years: Marjorie; daughter: Nancy (Michael) George; son: Robert (Dione); granddaughters: Olivia and Kayla (Logan); brother: Selby; also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, September 9 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 10 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, September 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, September 11 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Water Street, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
