Dear Aggie and family.
I’m so sorry that Ed passed. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to meet him. He was always so good to my sister and me. He made a difference and an icon in Ochre Pit Cove. Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.

Aggie & boys.
My heart was so saddened to learn of Eddie's passing. He was a great friend of my Dad's when he fished alongside of Eddie and his crew in Ochre Pit Cove. Dad had the utmost respect for him & always spoke fondly of him. In later years, I had met him on several occasions at the hospital when he was an in-patient. I soon realized the reason my Dad spoke so highly of him. I am thinking of you all at this sad & difficult time, and sending my deepest condolences. RIP, Eddie!

Agnes, Glen, Bradley, Kobe and Grandchildren: We Were Very Sorry to Hear of Edward's Passing!
Edward was a person who spent many hours on Ochre Pit Cove Wharf during his Fishing Years. If you did not see Edward on the wharf either you were too late or not there at all.. "In these past few weeks the wharf feels lonesome as Edward is not around":

To Ed’s family,
I’m not sure how to start telling you how highly I thought of Ed, he was your all around good guy, always up for a laugh and to carry on, he was a shoulder that l leaned on when Dad was sick and passed away. We had our own little joke that we shared every time our paths would cross and I will forever remember and cherish my memories of him. Rest peacefully Mop
