Obituary of Wade J. Abbott

Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, September 21, 2025, Wade J. Abbott of Carbonear, age 71 years.

Predeceased by parents: Michael and Hilda.

Leaving to mourn, loving wife of 46 years: Elsie; brothers: Keith (Cecilia) and Stephen (Linda); sister: Linda (Roy); sisters-in-law: Georgina, Ardena, Elda, and Linda; brothers-in-law: Frank, Pat (Brenda), Jason (Maggie), and Bob; fur babies: Sheba, Zoey, and Pepper; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Special thanks to the emergency and 6th floor nursing staff of Carbonear General Hospital as well as staff of 2 South, Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavalion, Carbonear.

Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, September 24 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service with Mass to take place on Thursday, September 25 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Carbonear. Interment in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carbonear.
