Bill grew up in Spaniard’s Bay and became a high school teacher of math and sciences. He taught in Norman’s Cove, Harbour Grace and Carbonear. He loved teaching and his students. He loved to travel and especially enjoyed his winters in Florida. He was a socialable, people-person who loved his Bay Roberts friends for “Music & Friends” times. Boxing Day was not to be missed for it was a tradition enjoyed by all.

He was a dedicated Masonic member of Lodge McLeod, Bay Roberts. There, many
friendships were made and social times enjoyed. He was a member of the Mazol Shriners Carbonear Club, where he was always ready to participate in fundraising, meetings, and good times.

On Bill‘s behalf, I would like to thank all staff who worked at the Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion, and St. Luke’s Home, who provided him with compassionate care and comfort.
