Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on October 12, 2025, Betty Kent of Harbour Grace, age 79 years.

Predeceased by her parents: Joseph and Annie Elizabeth Bartlett; brothers: Brian and Kevin Bartlett.

Leaving to mourn, husband: John; daughters: Sharon (Rob) Parsons, Lynn Kent; sons: John (Gladys), Terry (Aleeta); grandchildren: Victoria (Oliver), Robert (Katherine), Chelsea (Jake) and John (Jessica); great-grandchildren: John, Kameron and Kacey; brother: Ed Bartlett; sisters: Delores (Gary) Martin and Dorothy Ann Short; and also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, October 17, 2025, 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
