Obituary of Theresa Margaret Walbourne

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Theresa Walbourne of Harbour Grace announce her passing. Theresa passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavillion in Carbonear on Wednesday, October, 15, 2025 at the age of 95. 

Predeceased by husband: Maurice; parents: Enas and Mary Barnes; brothers: Peter (Shirley) and Cyril; sister: Philomena (Bill) Sheppard.

Leaving to mourn, partner: Bob Andrews; daughters: Philomena (Gerald) Parsons and Irene (Art) Penney; son: Maurice; grandchildren: Robert (Shelly), Gerald, and Amanda (Daniel); great-grandchildren: Tia, Grace, Aivah, Edem, Xavier, and Emmah; special friends: Amy Dwyer and Berkley Reynolds; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Special thank you to the staff at 3 South for their exceptional care. They always went above and beyond for our mother.

Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Friday, October 17 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

Funeral service to take place on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace.

Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.

In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
