Obituary of Gordon Tetford

Passed peacefully away at Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavillion, Carbonear on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, Gordon Tetford of Harbour Grace, age 95 years.

Predeceased by his wife: Frances; parents: Robert and Lily Tetford; brothers, Robert (Betty) and Gerald (Olive); sisters in law: Peggy (Howard) Bulmer, Lena (Robert) Mackinley, Helen Jean (Frank) Arnold, Dody (Jim) Creighton, Eileen (Byron) Lobban, and Betty (Hal) Barrett.

Leaving to mourn, daughters: Wendy (Paul) Sheppard and Cindy Tetford; sons: David (Gloria) and Jamey; grandchildren: Matthew, Christopher (Meaghan), Andrew (Alison), Colin (Meredith), Brian (Megan), and Mark (Jenelle); great grandsons: Jackson, William, Eddie, Hugo, Caden, and Gibson; friends: Llew and Karen Noel; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Friday, October 24 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, October 25 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, October 25 at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in Coughlan United Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
