My deepest sympathy to Dot’s family who meant so much to her. I knew Dot through my sister, Agnes Black, as they were life long friends. I often took Agnes to visit Dot when she was home from Dallas, Texas each summer. Agnes and Steve made weekly visits to Dot when vacationing in Burnt Point. Dot will be remembered for being a kind and caring person. May she now rest in peace

I was sorry to hear of Dot’s passing. Her death means the end of George and Margaret’s family raised in Heart's Content and Harbour Grace. Fortunately there are many more Sinyard offspring to carry on.
Dot wasn’t a person you’d miss in a crowd. She was vivacious, always had a point of view, she was interesting and fun.
My Condolences to her children, grand and great grandchildren. and Cathy, who will miss her.
Rest in Peace Dot.

My sincerest condolences go out to you all. Aunt Dot was a big part of my life and I will miss her. She might be gone but she will live on in your memories. I know she’s in heaven reunited with her pre deceased family and probably playing a game of crib with Dad while eating a kitkat bar. I will always think of her whenever I hear the word “dang” and eat an apricot square. She will find a way to let you know that she is still with you.
Hugs and prayers

Paul and family,
So very sorry for the loss of your mom. She was a wonderful lady with a contagious smile. She always had a big hug for me and an apricot square whenever I was at her house. She will be dearly missed. All our love and thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this difficult time.

I have fond memory of my Aunt Dot from when I was a very small child. The particulars of it are fuzzy because I believe that I was still in diapers. I recall standing in her lap at the steering wheel of a car and smiling happily. That memory always makes me smile still and comes back to me whenever I think of Aunt Dot. God bless her!
