Obituary of William Power

Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavillion, Carbonear on Sunday, November 16, 2025, William Power of Low Point, age 92 years.

Predeceased by parents: Martin and Mary; son: Paul; brothers: Gerald, Raymond, and Martin; sister: Eileen Hatch; brother-in-law: Lawrence Sparkes.

Leaving to mourn, wife: Theresa; daughters: Dianne (Harrison) Payne, Cow Head and Lorraine (Hartley) Green, Southlands; grandchildren: Colleen (Glenn), Melanie, Amy, Mandy (Graham), and Emily (Ben); great grandchildren: Courtney, Max and Molly; daughter-in-law: Cindy, Western Bay; brother: Luke; sister: Linda Sparkes; sister-in-law: Mary Power; brother-in-law: Aloysius Hatch; also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Wednesday, November 19 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral service with Mass to take place on Friday, November 21 at 10:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay.

Interment to take place at a later date.
