Obituary of Frederick 'Fred' Penney

Passed peacefully away at residence surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday November 18, 2025, Frederick 'Fred' Penney of Salmon Cove, age 92 years.

Predeceased by parents: Isreal and Hazel; parents-in-law: Llewllyn and Masie Green; sister: Agnes (Edward) Hunt; sons-in-law: Ford Clarke and Steve Finn; sister-in-law: Margaret Penney; brother: Ross Penney; step-brothers: Gerald Penney (Patricia Butt) and Melvin (Unetha) Penney; brothers-in-law: Wallace (Daphne) Green and Guy Green; other sisters and brothers-in-law of the Green family.

Leaving to mourn, loving wife of 71 years, Nina; daughters: Phyllis (Jordan) Deering, Judy Finn, Danielle (Albert) Wareham; sons: Gary (Donna), Terry (Jenny), and Scott (Della); grandchildren: Vanessa, Brad, Renelle, Santina, Chad, Tiffany, Allison, Jenelle, Jordan, Mitchell, Jillian, and Janaya; great-grandchildren: Benjamin, Kaylen, Luke, Ryder, Reid, Isaiah, Dylan, Autumn, Connor, Maddex, Nixon, Lincoln, and Eli; brother: Walter Penney; also a large number of step-siblings, other relatives and friends. 

Special thanks to Dad's homecare workers Anna, Jackie, and Cathy.   

Also a special thank you to Dad's friend Jim Crane for your number of visits, chats, and support over the years but especially when dad was unable to get out and was at home, your days spent on the patio or in the house having a chat with Dad was greatly appreciated by the Mom and his family.

Visitation at Noel's Funeral, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, November 22 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral service to take place on Sunday, November 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentscostal Church, Victoria.

Interment in Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria.
