Marie and family sending condolences on the loss of a wondeful, gentle caring man. I'm sure there was a great Dicks' family reunion in heaven when he was welcomed by all his family gone before him (I believe he was the last of that generation of Dicks). I remember all the music and dancing at many a gathering growing up in Hr. Buffett especially around Christmas time.
Hold tight to all your cherished memories which will keep him tucked in your heart forever.

My deepest condolences to the family. I have known Mr. and Mrs. Dicks and the family since I was born on Martin's Lane. Mr. and Mrs. Dicks are two of the finest people I have ever known. Mr. Dicks is a gentleman and a kind soul to all the children on the street. I have fond memories of having snacks in their house and playing with their son Jim. Jim’s family
I met Jim when the family moved to Hr Grace in the early 60s
He was at the Plant in the Birdseye years - I was a Summer student employee.
Jim was a very friendly - considerate and kind person with a great sense of humour.
These traits of character were evident throughout his long life.
He and Marie raised a fine family - his legacy endures.
He had many friends who will remember him with warmth and fondness.
He is now at rest and may that rest be in peace

Marie and family,

We have fond memories of Jim from our Legion days, especially the dances! You didn’t miss too many and the night wasn’t complete until we all had a scuff together.
