Hayward Penney, age 74 years, of Salmon Cove passed away peacefully at Private Josiah Squibb Long Term Care, Carbonear on November 27, 2025.

He is survived by his 2 children: Janelle Penney of Cambridge, ON and Curtis Penney of Woodstock, ON; grandchildren: Chelsea, Ethan, Callie, Jack, and Detra; great-grandchildren: Eliana, Isabelle, and Layla. He will be remembered by his surviving brother, Lloyd (Joan) Penney of Salmon Cove; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Predeceased by his parents: John Hayward and Mildred Penney; brothers: Ronald, Graham, and Warrick; sister: Joyce King.

Special thanks to the staff of Lanes Retirement Living and Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavillion for their compassion and care over the last couple years.

In keeping with Hayward's wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will be at a later date.

Rest now Dad in untroubled peace.
