Passed suddenly away at his residence on Monday, December 8, 2025. George Ernest French of Harbour Grace, age 81 years.

Pre-deceased by wife: Doreen; daughter: Georgette; parents: Harold and Mildred; brother: Bill; parents-in-law: John and Fannie Noseworthy; brothers-in-law: Steve Whelan, Don Noseworthy and Jack (Sandra) Noseworthy.

Leaving to mourn, son: Nelson (Kim); grandchildren: Nicole, Jamie (Allison) and Natasha (Collin); sisters-in-law: Bernice (Jerome) McGrath, Linda (Gerald McCarthy) and Alfreda Noseworthy; special pet Jax; also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Thursday, December 11, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, December 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Funeral Service to take place on Friday, December 12 at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church, Water Street, Harbour Grace. 

Interment at Coughlan United Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
