Obituary of Linda Clarke

Our family is heartbroken as we announce the passing of our beautiful mom, Linda Clarke who devoted her life to raising her family. She treasured her husband Harold with all the love her heart could hold. She passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the age of 79 years.

Predeceased by parents: William and Ethel Dean; brothers: Albert, Jordan, Richard, William and Rendall Dean; sister: Shirley Hefford and Bertha Mae Clarke.

Leaving to mourn, her husband of 63 years: Harold; daughters: Dana (John), Shelly (Trevor) and Crystal (Aaron); sons: Trevor (Annette), George (Jolene) and Danny (Sara); grandchildren: April, Kaitlyn, Brandon, Kaiden, Sara, Daniel, Charlotte and Adolfo; 10 great-grandchildren: sister: Margaret (George) Rowe; sisters-in-law: Eileen (Aubrey) Rose and Goldie Russell; special friends: Lois, Linda, Wayne and Linda Freake; also a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

We want to thank all who visited mom and us at the hospital, you helped carry us through a very difficult time it did not go unnoticed. A special thank you to Dr. Roger Butler, we cannot find the words to express our gratitude for your kindness. To Dr. Dawn Howse, Palliative Care, Carbonear General Hospital, thank you for kindness and compassion. The 6th floor nurses thank you all.

Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, January 6 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral service to take place from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, January 7 at 2:00 p.m.
