Eileen and Chris's Family
we were so deeply saddened to hear about Chris’s passing. It was truly a privilege to get to know him over the years. He was such a soft-spoken man with a very big heart, and it was always so clear how much he loved our cousin Eileen.
One of our favorite things about Chris was how much he valued his family and also your family. We’ll never forget how, whenever you traveled up the shore, he would always be the one to ask, "Are we going in to see Uncle George today?" It meant the world to my Dad. They had such great conversations together, and Dad always used to tell me that you had found yourself a truly lovely man.
Chris will be deeply missed, and we are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sad to hear of my cousin, Chris' passing. My deepest condolences to Eileen, Cassandra, Colin, Bernice, Gennie, Pat, Nora, Bertille, the grandkids and all the family. My heart is with you all. My memories of Chris will live on and are deeply rooted in my childhood and teen years. Those years when our family would come to Northern Bay to visit Grandma every summer. Chris was always full of beans and had a great sense of humour. He teased me mercilessly when I was a young teenager. We were all so young then, having so much fun, lots of laughs, summer evenings with us all lying around in the cool grass in Grandma's front yard. Kids coming and going. It was a sweet special time. RIP cousin. So glad we had a chance to meet again in Northern Bay in recent years and revisit some of those precious times. Love, Gail

RIP Chris and condolences to the Family and friends know Chris mostly in Ontario when most of our friends moved for work.i came back couple years ago after I retired and hooked up with Chris got to know him much better .We joined in the Crib games in AYLA my partener and we became good friends. Chris was one who sometimes agitated some people especially in our crib games we joked about all the time.we talked about the times in Ontario and about the business he was involved in Northern Bay.I will miss him and our times and chats together.

Just a couple of weeks ago, my wife Donna and I visited Uncle Chris andcEileen at the hospital in Old Perlican. We sang some of his favourite songs together as I played his old guitar. We had such lovely chats during our visits, he was so interested in seeing the pictures and videos of our travels. His eyes lit up, he reminded us how lucky we were to be able to travel, to enjoy our adventures, and we felt that deeply. Eventhough he was not well, he planned a special trip for when he would get out of the hospital, and he had such enthusiasm and positivity. We have fond memories of our time together.
