Obituary of Andrew Joseph Delaney

Passed very peacefully away at Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, Andrew Joseph Delaney of Grates Cove, age 78 years.

Predeceased by parents: Joseph and Evelyn Delaney; brother: Jack; sisters: Edna and Gen; parents-in-law: Clarence and Catherine Meadus; brothers-in-law: Tolson and Harry Meadus; and sister-in-law: Marilyn Meadus.

Leaving to mourn, wife of 54 years: Janice; daughter: Trista (Mark); sons: Chris and Glen; 7 grandchildren: Austin, Abbie, Taelor, Tyson, Mackenzie, Kenton, and Wyatt; 2 great-grandchildren: Jameson and Maeve; brothers: Tom (Annie), Raymond (Irene - deceased), and Gerald (Lorraine); sisters-in-law: Sandra and Valerie; brothers-in-law: Don, Wesley, and Derrick; special friend: Leo (Jennifer) Doyle; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of life will take place at Delaney’s Pub, Northern Bay on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
