Obituary of George Garfield Rowe

Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, January 15, 2026, George Garfield Rowe of Victoria, age 83 years.

Predeceased by parents: George and Florence; step-father: Richard Young; grandson: Connor Rowe; sister: Betty Young; parents-in-law: William and Ethel Dean; brothers-in-law: Richard (Olive), Albert, William (Alice), Jordan (Margaret), Randall, Eldred, and Elihu; sisters-in-law: Bertha Mae (Nathaniel), Shirley, and Linda; son-in-law: Roberrt Knight.

Leaving to mourn, loving wife of 62 years: Margaret; daughters: Michelle (Jason) Rose and Kandice Rowe (Jeff); sons: Stephen (Tanya), Sheldon, David, Dwayne, and Adam (Dolores); grandchildren: Nikita (Terry), Stephen (Shanna), Deven (Emma), Morgan, Benjamin, Mavis, Brooklyn, Leah, Dawson, Jayden, Nevaeh, and Lucas; great-grandchildren: Connor, Mya, Ashton, Kandell, Navy, Ila, and Callie; brothers-in-law: Harold Clarke and Ted Hefford; sister-in-law: Joan Dean; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Special thank you to all staff of ICU, Carbonear General Hospital for their constant care and compassion.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Burial to be held at a later date.
