Obituary of Frank Penney Pike
Passed peacefully away, surrounded by his loving family, at Carbonear General Hospital Palliative Care Unit on January 23, 2026, Frank Penney Pike of Carbonear, age 94 years.
Left behind with loving memories are his devoted wife of 73 years, Betty; daughter: Beverley (Aubrey) Drover; son: Bob (Cathy); daughter: Janice Pike (George Rowe); son: Frank (Cheryl); grandchildren: Christopher (Meghan), Shaun (Danielle), Danika (Robin), Adam, Jason, Ryan (Angela), Tara (Adam), Brad (Melissa), Stephen (Devon), and Laura (Bradford); missing Pops are great-grandchildren: Madison, Luke, Penelope, Sawyer, Paige, Ivy, Andy, Callie, Talon, and Harrison; also leaving brother-in-law: John (Florence) Pike; sisters-in-law: Theresa Pike, Anne Penney, Christine Noel; plus many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Predeceased by parents: Frank and Winnifred (Moore) Pike; parents-in-law: Robert and Alfreda (Snook) Pike; brother: John (Flo) Pike; sister: Flora; brothers-in-law: George Pike, James Pike, Dave Pike, Fred Penney, and Herder Noel.
The family would like to thank the 6th floor staff of Carbonear General Hospital for their care during Frank’s stay.
Visitation to take place at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday, January 25 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, January 26 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Funeral service to take place on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear.
Cremation to follow with an inurnment at a later date.
