My deepest condolences to you all. I first met Betty when she and I were both staying at Squires House Residence in Peyton College( MUN). I was about 17-18 years old at the time and planning a career in Education. Betty was a breath of fresh air! Her experiences from having already taught were valuable to us all. She was fun to be around, to answer questions, to just help with courses in any way she could.
Having grown up in Blackhead, our paths crossed a lot over the years. I will always remember her fondly. God Bless you all.

To Ray, Renay and family,
We were very sorry to hear of Betty’s passing. I taught with Betty during my first teaching years and got to know her through church activities as well. She was a kind and dedicated teacher who was also involved in many church and community events. Above all, Betty was very devoted to her family and I’m sure you all have so many wonderful memories to hold onto. We are sending our sincere condolences and prayers to you all at this difficult time.

To Ray, Renay and extended family
We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Betty. She and I started teaching the same year and in the same grade at Jackson Walsh. Our children were only a year apart in age. We shared many a chat about teaching and life. Know that you have our sincere sympathy and are in our prayers.
