Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavillion, Carbonear on Saturday, March 28, 2026, Walter Levi Green of Carbonear, age 83 years.
Predeceased by parents: John and Ellen; sisters: Millie (Dave) Blair, Hilda (Caleb) Marsh, Dora (Enos) Strowbridge, and Pearl (Cal) Smith; parents-in-law: Malcolm and Susie King; sister-in-law: Mary Parsons.
Leaving to mourn, loving wife of 61 years: Bernice; son: Chris (Terri); his pride and joy, grandsons: Cody and Brady; daughter: Kimberley Medica, her children: Stephanie, Katrina, and Nicholas; sister: Florence (Roy-deceased) Keats; sister-in-law: Una (Winston) Warford; brothers-in-law: Lloyd (Marilyn), Norman (Hope-deceased), and Harvey Parsons; special friend: Seymour Campbell; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Walter was a 50 year member of the United Association of Local 740 Plumbers & Pipefitters and also a member of the Orange Lodge Local 1216, Carbonear.
Special thank you to all home care workers for their constant care and compassion. Also, thank you to the nursing staff of 4 North, Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavillion and family physician Dr. Chris Peddle for their loving care.
Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear on Monday, March 30 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 31 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, March 31 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
