Obituary of Enda Bridget Smith

Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at Health Science Center, St. John’s on April 30, 2026, Enda Smith of Harbour Grace, age 68 years.

Predeceased by loving and devoted husband: John William Smith; parents: John and Mary Ethridge; nieces: Lauralee Ethridge and Sara Eve Seaman; great-niece: Amber Rose Day; baby nephew: Joseph; brothers-in-law: Joseph Haire and John Day.

Leaving to mourn,  her son: Patrick, who was her world and his partner, Zach; Zach’s family: Terry, Debbie, Stacey, and Stephanie Tuttle; stepchildren: Kimberley (Stephen), Karen (James), and Kevin (Robin); grandchildren: Jonathan, Joanne, Victoria, John, and Liam; grand fur babies: Spectre and Flora; 5 sisters: Beverly (Haire) Delaney (Dave), Sandra Squibb (Gary Peckham), Marguerite Parsons (Gerald), Cynthia (Day) Bishop (Edward), and Frances (Ethridge) Smith (Mark); 2 brothers: John Ethridge and Michael Ethridge (Joann); nieces and nephews: Sherri Haire, Shelly Squibb, Kimberly Lovell, Kayla Parsons, Amanda Day, Victoria Neufeld, Patricia Seaman, Joe Haire, Sheldon Squibb, Glen Ethridge, Michael Ethridge, and Curtis Seaman; great-nieces and nephews: Samantha Jo, Clayton, Kristen, Brendan, Chloe, Kiera, Connor, Alora, Whitney, Yorick, Annalise, Bennett, Isaac; great-great-niece: Scarlett; great-great-nephew: Drayden; special life long friend: Kathy Sheppard; also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Monday, May 4 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m.

Funeral service to take place on Wednesday May 6, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Harbour Grace.

Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
