I only met my Uncle Kevin once when my sister Becky and I took my mom, Norma Marie Smokoska, to Newfoundland for a visit before her memory got too bad. He welcomed us into his home and met his family. He even gave me a ride on his motorcycle…very fun! I didn’t really know him well, but it seemed like we bonded right away. He was that kind of man.
I am so sorry he is gone, but take comfort that he is not suffering anymore and is in heaven. Him and the rest of the family will welcome us all home. That’s what I take solace in.

My memories of him are many including road side chats about current events to hearing him play his music over the years. Jane and family. Shirley and I are so deeply sorry to hear the news of Kevin’s passing. I’ve be a friend of Kevin’s since grade school and our friendship never once wavered. Such a dedicated father, husband and grandfather, he will always be remembered by the community as a steady and dedicated citizen who could be counted on to contribute in whatever way he could to our town. Jane and extended family of Kevin
Sorry to see that Kevin has made his exit from the road of his life -
His obituary well describes a life -well lived -in many aspects -a wonderful testament to Kevin`s life -
We grew up on the ``Hill `` in Harbour Grace -- I knew him -- his parents and brother Frank from very early days -
The families in our neighbourhood were a close knit group who interacted well -
The ranks are thinning indeed --
Kevin was an easy going persona -- very friendly and outgoing -loved to engage in a conversation -- always had insightful opinions on the events of the day - he will be missed indeed -
His family was very important to him - as were his friends --his music - and Community -
His exit was a bit early -but in his day and generation Kevin Lynch made a difference -
Sincere condolences to all who mourn his passing -
