Obituary of Patrick William Wheadon
Passed peacefully away at Health Science Center, St. John’s on May 13, 2026, Patrick Wheadon of Western Bay, age 79 years.
Predeceased by parents: Gordon and Anne; parents-in-law: Elizabeth and James McCarthy; sons: Patrick and Kenneth; grandchildren: Peter and Jessica; brother: Nicholas; sisters: Shirley and Ena; brother-in-law: Rendell Baggs; very best friend: Vince Bennett.
Leaving to mourn, wife: Pauline; sons: Tony (Karen) and David (Terri); daughters: Shirley-Ann (Rick) and Patricia; grandchildren: Amanda (Bob), Patrick, Nicholas, and their father Jason Bartlett, Brooklyn, Brianna, Brayden, Poppys Bini Eve; great-grandchildren: Olivia, Benjamen, Abby, and Hunter; brother: Gordon (Linda); daughter-in-law: Maureen; brother-in-law: Jim Roberts; very close friends: "me" Charlie and Stella, Baxter Wheadon, Peter Halley, Jack Earle, Ken Trickett, David Traverse, and Michael Johnson; along with all his special friends in Lower Island Cove.
Special thank you to the nurses and doctors at the Health Science Center who gave him comfort and care second to none.
Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Sunday, May 17 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral service to take place on Monday, May 18, at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Main Highway, Western Bay.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Lower Island Cove CBN Memorial Project to honor fallen NL Regiment Comrades by emt at gordon.wheadon@icloud.com.
