Obituary of Harvey Luffman

Passed peacefully away surrounded by his devoted wife and family at Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, May 16, 2026, Harvey Luffman of Harbour Grace, age 85 years.

Predeceased by parents: Harold and Elsie (Hunt); infant son: Harold; infant daughter; daughter-in-law: Charlene; brothers: Raymond (Mary), Jim (Helen), and Bill; sister: Alice (Lawrence) Barrett; parents-in-law : Arthur and Ethel Lynch; brothers-in-law: Kevin Ivey and Leslie (Lillian) Lynch; sister-in-law: Gwendlyn Lynch;

Leaving to mourn, loving wife of 64 years: Mary; daughters: Kimberly (Trevor), Charlene (Brian) Farrell, Cindy (Doug) and Tina (Shawn) Dobbin; son: Garry; grandchildren: Rick (Eduarda), Randi-Lee (Joel), Rykker, Jordan (Katie), Christian (Kathleen), Liam, Kara (Keegan), Hannah (Kaleb), Cassandra, Morgan (Zac), and Gavin (Lydia); great-grandchild: Joel; sisters: Alfreda Ivey and Grace (Jim) Forward; brothers-in-law: George (Anne) Lynch, Aubrey (Enid) Lynch, Arthur (Marilyn) Lynch, and Granville (Marlene) Lynch; sisters-in-law: Gladys Luffman, Shirley (Harry) Parsons, Jenny (Rodney) Sparkes, and Gladys Lynch; and also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Special thanks to 6th floor staff of Carbonear General Hospital for their constant care and compassion. Also thank you to our family cousin Lynn Petten who stayed with us during the last days, it meant so much.

Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on July 19, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral service to take place on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace.
